yeah i'm a little cynical about how much of it gets spent but the scouting/buying set up seems improved, no way we spend all of the Kilman and Neto money but that won't matter if we bring in a couple of class players. i don't expect a like for like replacement for Neto, what we need is to find a different way of countering since we can't just hoof it out to the right wing any more

Well I didn't have high expectations for today but thought they played much better than expected, just Arsenal on the road is a hard test to begin a campaign.
Doesn't get much easier than Chelsea next week but Cunha had a hat trick against them last year.

Would have thought Isak is viewed as long-term Salah replacement rather than a central striker, so for Liverpool just unsettling Isak and making it easier for Newcastle to let him go seems sensible enough.
Depending on Salah’s form and fitness they can afford to wait til next season or look to go again for him ahead of AFCON.

ekitike can play out wide too as can isak. with three fewer forwards than last year they really do need two. plus don't forget salah gonna be at afcon for a bit too.
