I think it might slowly become one, like that Willie Brown story is a great example, not only is it completely made up it's something that makes no sense to lie about in the first place, it's not even a small lie it's a story about a brush with death, no reason at all to make that up. I mean when he's brazenly lying about crowd sizes and poll numbers you could at least argue it's a legit political strategy, the "silent majority" thing does play pretty well

when the attempt happen I took a week off the internet and it was the nicest week of my life for about 2 decades.

Yeah when that occurred I was worried I was going to see that stupid ass photo of him raising his fist everywhere I went and it absolutely vanished, I've seen maybe one shirt and one poster with that image.

Vance calls them "thought experiments", not policy proposals, at least that's what he's saying today about giving parents extra votes for their kids. Trump's thought experiments are mostly unique spellings for nicknames.
