i tried and did not find anything satisfying, best guess seems to be hes just mispronouncing her name to be obnoxious since shes kinda made a deal about how to pronounce her name

its just now dawning on me how incredibly strange it would have been had the shooter hit. like the man who was the central character of America for 8 years, who was openly promising to unravel the country and at the time looked increasingly likely to have the chance to do so, just randomly shot in the head by some kid with apparently no agenda whatsoever. it would have been one of the wildest news stories ever, something that might actually convince me we live in a science project. I mean after ALL THAT the thing he would be most remembered for hadn't even happened yet. surely he would be remembered for many other things too but what's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of JFK? and there it's just the grainy video, had it happened here you would see the picture and video everywhere, it would instantly become the most famous photo of Trump there is

it almost feels like the same thing we experienced with Biden! his age was always a concern but that debate made it the #1 thing overnight, even moreso than all the shit Trump was doing. suddenly every single Biden appearance was being analyzed much more carefully and things he'd been doing for a while now suddenly seemed much more concerning. I wonder if Trump is himself reaching that zone, every single appearance he's made the last 2 weeks has been an utter disaster, even the Adin Ross thing was really strange

I still remember Willie Brown saying with admiration (long after their brief relationship in the 90s) that Kamala Harris was going straight to the top. It seemed plausible even 20+ years ago

I think it might slowly become one, like that Willie Brown story is a great example, not only is it completely made up it's something that makes no sense to lie about in the first place, it's not even a small lie it's a story about a brush with death, no reason at all to make that up. I mean when he's brazenly lying about crowd sizes and poll numbers you could at least argue it's a legit political strategy, the "silent majority" thing does play pretty well

I mean how hard is it to go from "that bullet hit me really hard" when it barely grazed him and maybe it wasn't a bullet at all, to "I almost died with Willie Brown!"
