As chair of the Democratic Governors Association you gotta figure Walz is also locked in across the country with state voting people/offices/governments/etc. in a way that Shapiro could never be. From what I've heard, they all know him and like him. Which means they will work for him.

The fact of that role and him unexpectedly appearing on the shortlist along with five or six people everyone had been talking about already was enough to make me think he was a probable choice.

Gotta say, I might even vote for them now. I was not looking forward to Shapiro on the ticket.

I feel like Harris aced her first exam.

biggest plus for Walz to me is that, on the state level, he had the unprecedented idea that hey we control the legislature and the governor's office maybe we could actually do some stuff
