iPlayer has been giving two live feeds but they chop and change halfway through things and there's too much blabbing in the studio plus all the anjoying af adverts for...iPlayer

Yup, just the two channels on BBC - wish they had all the streams but just £3.99 for a month of discovery

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:14 (one year ago)

Biles fell!

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:15 (one year ago)

This is the third time I've seen her do this beam routine at this Olympics; maybe it's hard to keep her head in the game

i see michael johnson shares my opinion that thompson tensed up

― lag∞n, Sunday, 4 August 2024 bookmarkflaglink

Your opinion was that he fucked up.

― xyzzzz__, Monday, August 5, 2024 3:36 AM (three hours ago) bookmarkflaglink

thompson blew it he tensed up

― lag∞n, Sunday, 4 August 2024 bookmarkflaglink

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:19 (one year ago)

That's you yes

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:21 (one year ago)

do you know what im talking about when i say he tensed up

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:23 (one year ago)

You said he blew it.

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:25 (one year ago)

yeah tensing up towards the end of a sprint is prob the the most common way of blowing it in that kind of race

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:26 (one year ago)

Andrade got 4th. Biles off medals too. Everyone stunned at that scoring for Andrade, so its gold for the Italian.

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:27 (one year ago)

seeing as it was a thousandth of a second finish he def wouldve won had he not done that therefor... he blew it

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:27 (one year ago)

yeah tensing up towards the end of a sprint is prob the the most common way of blowing it in that kind of race

― lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 bookmarkflaglink

I don't think you or I can sit here, look at a guy that lost by five thousands of a sec and make that judgment but ok xp that's where we are gonna disagree

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:30 (one year ago)

be honest here do you know anything about sprinting at all

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:31 (one year ago)

More than you yeah

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:35 (one year ago)

bro lol ok

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:36 (one year ago)

Loving the chat, that's good engagement.

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:39 (one year ago)

idk what your problem is besides the fact that someone is challenging your apparently very closely held belief that its impossible to watch a sporting event and ascertain what happened in it

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:42 (one year ago)

idk maybe tell michael johnson about it

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:43 (one year ago)

Only way to settle this is a lag∞n v. xyzzzz FAP/sprint. Don't tense up.

il lavoro mi rovina la giornata (PBKR), Monday, 5 August 2024 11:44 (one year ago)

i could prob win running backwards

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 11:46 (one year ago)

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 12:18 (one year ago)

Awesome Argies score with 90 seconds left

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 12:23 (one year ago)

Argies were awesome in the shoot out. Germans did not score any out of four attempts. 2-0

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 12:37 (one year ago)

― mookieproof, Friday, 2 August 2024 bookmarkflaglink

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 12:48 (one year ago)

scott seward, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:01 (one year ago)

Japan saved two SPs..24-24

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:14 (one year ago)

Italy get it at the 3rd. We go to a final set

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:15 (one year ago)

Biles is just nuts. so much power. Andrade still ahead though.

scott seward, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:24 (one year ago)

Sorry but this is an incredibly funny post in and out of context

Andrade won gold. she was great. Biles went out of bounds twice otherwise she might have taken it.

scott seward, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:34 (one year ago)

chiles didn't win bronze...and then she did. intrigue!

scott seward, Monday, 5 August 2024 13:37 (one year ago)

Badminton men's final, its the Danish defending Olympic champion vs Vitidsarn (Thailand) (current world champion) and I saw him beat the shit out of the Chinese player..

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 14:00 (one year ago)

And the Thai is being whooped here so far its highly one sided.

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 14:27 (one year ago)

Incredibly one sided but I enjoyed the artistry

xyzzzz__, Monday, 5 August 2024 14:49 (one year ago)

so a belgian triathlete fell sick from swimming in the seine because too many people shit in it? am i reading that right?

, Monday, 5 August 2024 15:14 (one year ago)

oui oui

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 15:15 (one year ago)

the uk, and i guess france, has a big problem with sewage getting into rivers because of dodgy water companies. apparently it's a bigger problem when it rains a lot, which it has been in france as you've probably seen.

fun fact: the lead campaigner against said sewage problem in the uk is the ex lead singer on the undertones: https://x.com/Feargal_Sharkey

koogs, Monday, 5 August 2024 15:33 (one year ago)

I imagine it's Paris that has the problem whereas it's pretty much everywhere in England.

Defund Phil Collins (Tom D.), Monday, 5 August 2024 15:36 (one year ago)

swimming in a river in the middle of a big city just seems like a bad idea generally even if theres no poor sewage practices theres so much nasty stuff around yeah it rains things wash in there

lag∞n, Monday, 5 August 2024 15:37 (one year ago)

... and I think, in this case, it is England rather than the UK?

Defund Phil Collins (Tom D.), Monday, 5 August 2024 15:38 (one year ago)

our town beach/swimming area here - which is a beach next to a lovely gentle river branch - gets closed every summer for various lengths of time after storms because of the farms nearby. cows. what are you gonna moo?

scott seward, Monday, 5 August 2024 16:12 (one year ago)

yeah agricultural run off is a menace tons of rivers near me that are no swims
