I was watching the athletics earlier and the commentary was going on and on about the British runner and I kept thinking where is he, I can't see him. Then I realized that it's because the British athletics team have decided to dress up as New Zealand athletes for some reason.

denied gold? what a strange way to put it. all these athletes are world class athletes who can put together a winning performance or lose their slight edge over their peers, just through the concurrence of several tiny circumstances. that's what makes these competitions exciting.

Just finished watching the replay of the men’s cycling road race. Phew, Evenepoel in excelsis. But what a good job for the French team beyond that!

As for track and field, hell yeah what a great day all around for all those results, keeps it great and interesting! Fave celebration today was the Frenchwoman who got bronze in archery, both in the moment and on the podium.

Kayak Cross is basically an American Gladiator/Ninja Warrior TV game show, but when you take the Red Bull out of it (so to speak) it's crazy fun to watch

Watching India - GB Hockey QF. Really like Hockey even though the one person I know who played was incredibly unplesant. Its a class thing with a lot of these sports here.
