there was an article on The Pitch KC from 2011 claiming it provided "the five greatest songs ever written about sandwiches" but the webpage did not contain a list that i could find, not even one of those shitty slideshows that masqueraded as content in the early '10s

there were a bunch of hits from this website called The Last Sandwich but it didn't load

this list is crap. i mean complete fucking garbage. first off it claims that both hamburgers and hot dogs are sandwiches. second off it lists songs allegedly about "hamburgers" that, if you listen to them, are fucking obviously not about sandwiches. i guess you can make a case for "hamburger concerto" being about hamburgers, because the subsections are puns based on the degree of doneness for meat

moribund der burgermeister, though, is fucking _not about hamburgers_, "burgermeister" in this sense means "mayor" and if they LISTENED TO THE FUCKING SONG
