Donald Trump: Classic or Dud?

How much truth is there to the idea that there has been some kind of takeover or attempted takeover of the Libertarian party to bring them more explicitly under the umbrella of either Republican apparatus and/or Trump world? (thinking of CO and NH in particular but prresumably nationally). Heard there had been some kind of mini civil war over this and that membership has dropped a lot, but I'm not that au fait with subject matter and haven't looked into)

uh, he’s stupid vain, but i truly expect he thinks he can somehow profit off or use those docs. not necessarily in a “i have a devious genius plan” way, but in a “some assets have actual value, some ppl think i have a claim, i can persuade some people to believe they’re mine, fuck u they’re mine” way.

I still can't get over that the last witness for the defense was the shambling and out of control Costello and that Trump thought that he would be a very good witness, a masterstroke. Seeing the court getting cleared out and hearing that Merchan was informing him that he is in contempt and his testimony would be stricken from the record if he continued in the same the vein. Any hyper-impartial jurors (if there is such a thing) that are earnestly trying to follow the evidence and forget who the man is, he's been reminding them every day who he is. And that was the icing on the cake.
