If Brighton fail to score against Bournemouth on Sunday, this is going to win the Albion's April Goal of the Month Award by default #BHAFC https://t.co/itUh3m48KG

This feels like a match where we wait endless for NFO to equalize, they do at 89', then give up the game winner at 91'

lol - they're already doing this in MLS in the US, though haven't seen it in the wild yet. have some real balls, let one or two representatives of the team offer a rebuttal each time: https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/40056058/howard-webb-premier-league-referees-set-explain-var-decisions-crowd

Arsenal have just got a penalty, rightly so, for a dive. It was blatant as fuck but contact happened so it was correct.

a hoy hoy, Saturday, 4 May 2024 12:15 (two years ago)

its a sickening league and ive less and less interest in anything happening in it

close encounters of the third knid (darraghmac), Saturday, 4 May 2024 14:21 (two years ago)

Neto fitness was a bluff obv, but I think we've got enough quality to get remorselessly drubbed tonight

Bitchin Doutai (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 4 May 2024 15:32 (two years ago)

Shall see. At least I didn't have to wake up early to watch.

Kinda wanna do Arsenal the favor cos fuck Man City

RICH BRIAN (Neanderthal), Saturday, 4 May 2024 16:07 (two years ago)

Yeah, nice to have no worries but a chance to spoil. Been at work today, now nestled in the pub waiting for kick off

Bitchin Doutai (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 4 May 2024 16:19 (two years ago)

...

RICH BRIAN (Neanderthal), Saturday, 4 May 2024 16:45 (two years ago)

Not gonna claim any insight in calling this

Bitchin Doutai (Noodle Vague), Saturday, 4 May 2024 17:20 (two years ago)

Sorry guys but the sole interest left in this game is seeing how many Haaland can score.

No better way to break a slump than a game against Moyes at the bridge

People bang on about Spurs being "Spursy" which I've never really understood, until now. Calling for the managers head with where Tottenham are in the league, in his first year at the club is the most "Spursy" thing I've ever heard.

Jonty

You cannot, in my opinion, simply text into the BBC trumpeting your own, invented definition of what being "Spursy" is

Bitchin Doutai (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 5 May 2024 17:04 (two years ago)

I’m enjoying football more than I have in a long time Sgt. Have a good combo of no longer working weekends, a few new friends to talk about it with and Arsenal possibly winning the title helps tho.

a hoy hoy, Sunday, 5 May 2024 18:40 (two years ago)

Given Spurs' recent form, it seems almost nailed on that they'll take points off Man City and hand the title to Arsenal

Chelsea makes zero sense this year

― RICH BRIAN (Neanderthal), Monday, 6 May 2024 1:18 AM (nine hours ago) bookmarkflaglink

I’m high on hope for top 4 next year based on their recent form (one game with Arsenal not withstanding). The season has had slow, but overall positive momentum. Mostly in the form of one Cole Palmer. But most games there has been the feel of “oh hey, they look 10% more like a real team than last game” (GENERALLY SPEAKING). Sans any game with Sterling on the pitch. Everyone who was injured is suddenly healthy again too so that’s good too.
With all due respect to ya’ll spurs supporters…. Hard to not be happy at an end of a season when they get the double on them. Jackson hat-trick game still pops into my mind most weeks and goddamn if it doesn’t just make me feel like sunshine and peaches all over again. Gotta focus on the good things in life ya know?

Sorry Sgt.
