I am. I'm really impressed by how much Plastique has grown personally and has come back to show she's more than a pretty face. I still love Angeria and Gottmik.
The judging is bad, as has been the case for the last 5 years or so.

Ha, trudat. But yeah it’s been a treat to see this whole crew back, and Plastique has been amazing.

Separately: France and Mexico both treats as ever, can’t wait for Philippines S3, Canada v World S2 shortly and this looks awesome!

Wow you really watch it all ! I've only seen parts of France this time, and what I saw was very good. Nicky has really turned into a great host.

I'm debating which "world series" I'll watch, but it will probably end up being both.

I’m watching All Stars - Plastique is amazing, really enjoying Shannel slowly coming into her own again, and this last round of Roxxy lipsyncs were v enjoyable.

I like the IDEA of Nina West but her tastes costume-wise are really not for me.

i will watch the World Allstars - everything else is on WowPlus which I don’t have, but i’m ok missing out bc it’s honestly TOO MANY SHOWS lol

For someone I never liked before, Roxxy has really grown on me this season. It's fun to see both her and Shannel learn to just not take it all so seriously.

I feel like they tried their hardest to get Shannel to break like she did on season one to get good tv by not giving her any badges until the very end. Good for her for not going there and taking it with a grain of salt.

agree that felt like trying to get Shannel to break - think Kim Chi was saying on Pit Stop she was hoping for that to happen and to give us a season 1 "i am beautiful' moment

I still do not get Roxxy - felt lilke her 'kinder, gentler' Roxxy was very much for camera and her aesthetic is - too me - highly competent but neither fun nor exciting. she has done well in lip-syncs, but she's had enuf practice at 'em, and as Bianca said if you do it right the first time you don't have to do 'em. that said her lil lunge in the diana ross lipsync cracked me up.

Plastique on the other hand, from her first season to now, has absolutely blown me away in her design/construction and make up skills!

Her willingness to let herself be stupid and ugly in front of the camera is a big change this time round too. Like, in the workroom she's always pretty funny, but now she's being the kind of funny Ru likes to see as well. (Which is loud, and with freckles drawn on.)

My only complaint about Plastique is that sometimes her runway looks bear no resemblance to the category, but this is a very minor complaint.

Yeah, that was especially true on the widow runway. But damn, her looks have been impressive. Especially the ones she created there !

Plastique is absolutely amazing (the star cloak but also the cherry blossom painted dress, omg) but is still missing some gravitas (which you can really see in her lipsyncs - she's good technically but she's not great at channeling a character)

it's actually Vanjie i'm most impressed with - hey runways seem to be on another level now - and she's still funny as hell

plastique looks great and makes/wears great clothes, but she appears to have suffered a charismectomy or something

i don't dislike gottmikk, but i feel similarly about her- she has great style (and clearly a lot of money) but like, cant lipsync or be interesting aside from creating amazing looks??

also re: people talking about roxxy's "polish": maybe she could polish that godawful makeup imo!!

Trixie is going on a three month sabbatical, but given the explanation it really makes me wonder if she's ever coming back

the finale was strangely low key. there were season opening episodes that had more excitement than that.
it was great to have a Kamala cameo though, i wonder when they filmed that!

the result is also not wholly surprising other than Roxy losing her 1st lipsync

anjeria’s park & bark song was so fucking great & fun! so many of the queens songs are v unmemorable these days

it was great! everybody did pretty well though - feels like they chose the winners based on who they thought would do well in the lipsync

Angeria is more of the kind of drag queen that Ru wants. Her performance in the acting challenge w Ru proved that she’s The One

Plastique is huge on Insta and has incredible runways but Ru’s angle is “yes but can she host a drag show in Pacoima”

Vanjie being in the top 3 was v good also, her leotard song was v funny

i loved the non-event of Nina getting double badges or whatever the fuck.

Watching Vanjie's segment in the variety show, though, I realised that her dancing (or stomping, or whatever that particular style is called) doesn't really go anywhere. She keeps signalling that she's going to ramp it up, that a trick is coming any second now, and then she just carries on doing the exact same thing as before, which is somewhere between dancing and walking. I mean, I absolutely love her, but maybe that's why she's just not winning as much as she should be.

I would've given the talent show win to Plastique instead of Vanjie. It was theatrical and epic in such a short amount of time and brought something new until the end. Shannel was also great, but it was hard to get past that outfit and that wig.

Apparently Ginger Minj is coming back in the next All Stars, which is completely ridiculous. It feels like Drag U at this point.
