didn't really get to test it properly - I went to sort them out once it was dark when I knew they'd be less active and they were pretty quiet. I'd accidentally disturbed them earlier on and got stung and chased away. they'd been nesting in a compost bin and a fox had come along and ripped the little door off, probably looking for food, so I had clear it all up and fix the door back on. the leaf blower was my one form of defence but I didn't even need to use that in the end

Took my goddaughter and her daughter to a hobby farm run by the daughter and granddaughter of my favourite E.A. when I was teaching full-time. Fed chickens and cows, petted goats and miniature horses, communed with nature.
