Seemingly important question here, as prosecutors ask David Pecker whether Trump was concerned about his wife or family finding out about his alleged affairs when he was campaigning for office. Pecker responds no. This suggests that Trump’s worries were electoral, not personal.

find it kind of sickening that Trump played the "I can't even attend my son's graduation!" line along with "I can't be with Melania for her birthday!" today, like maybe you don't wanna draw attention to the fact that you can't do these things because you cheated on said wife while she was pregnant with said son. I mean maybe he's right that most GOP voters don't care about that stuff at all but still, even for him that's kind of craven. like if there's one thing we know about him it's that he has a famously great relationship with his wife and kids

Yeah, the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Young Donald Trump wasn't a bad looking guy, he just opted to become willfully grotesque over time for some reason. Or maybe his transformation into a goblin was the cost of doing business with whichever demonic entity gave him the power to be an eternally-sucking hole of consequence-free malfeasance. Who can say.
