Incredible

cozen itt (wins), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:55 (two years ago)

So I couldn’t hear everything because of the mix, they had Matt killed? Was anything else revealed?

Allen (etaeoe), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:55 (two years ago)

Yeah Tim said Joey killed Matt on G’s orders but for why, of course that’s not the full story

from a prominent family of bassoon players (Boring, Maryland), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:57 (two years ago)

I thought Toni was the intended target

c u (crüt), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:57 (two years ago)

Yeah I’m sure, of course Tim won’t admit it

from a prominent family of bassoon players (Boring, Maryland), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:58 (two years ago)

Wait, never mind, Toni already knows she was the target

from a prominent family of bassoon players (Boring, Maryland), Monday, 11 March 2024 02:59 (two years ago)

G Amato straight-faced singing that hymn from memory is maybe the most insane thing they’ve done on an Oscar Specail

from a prominent family of bassoon players (Boring, Maryland), Monday, 11 March 2024 03:00 (two years ago)

so uh Tim's going into witness protection now right

frogbs, Monday, 11 March 2024 03:22 (two years ago)

xps when they were arguing Tim said to G something about having been busy dealing with Matt’s murder & said “I asked you for help, I didn’t ask you to do that”

I think it’s pretty much what we’ve all assumed over the course of this season tbh, senile mobster g Amato sent Joey to intimidate Toni so she wouldn’t testify against Tim, he killed Matt instead

I just don’t know what all this means for baboon

cozen itt (wins), Monday, 11 March 2024 03:22 (two years ago)

my guess with all this is the Amatos need to launder a ton of money which is why they found all of Tim's 'properties' attractive, including HEI Points. G. Amato is the boss but Joey is probably the one really in charge. he probably had Amato's son killed and is obviously invovled with Kaili. but I guess they see Tim as an asset and someone who they really don't want investigated since he's now tied up with their criminal enterprise. the original plan with Toni was probably just to intimidate her but Call of Duty expert Matt Newman perhaps knew something may be up (since he was apparently talking on Discord about it?) and things went south. guessing Matt's father knows about his shadiness too which is why there was a scene at the funeral. so Tim didn't really 'approve' the plan but he knew what was happening. they could've gotten away with it too if not for both Tim and Joey being such hotheads

frogbs, Monday, 11 March 2024 04:07 (two years ago)

Well joey does bottle things up

Another way to see it though is that Gregg is just so annoying that it might end up bringing down the Amato crime family

great season/Oscar special but I'm a little disappointed that we probably aren't getting the Baboon/Pep Shop Boys movie now. Deck of Cards was so funny I actually felt exhausted by the end of it.

frogbs, Monday, 11 March 2024 13:53 (two years ago)

as funny as it was I gotta admit seeing Gregg-as-Dumbledore get flung to the ground like that was pretty disturbing, he didn't deserve that

frogbs, Monday, 11 March 2024 15:30 (two years ago)

also is G. Amato the first person to actually point out the shoddiness of the production like that? I know Tim and Gregg needle each other over their stuff a lot but overall it seems everyone in-universe is happy to play along and pretend On Cinema is some legit enterprise, Amato going "well it was clear this was not very good" was the first time I think a character ever started the obvious like that
