While not a super frequent poster these days I met Kate78 tonight after prob 15 years of online friendship and she's lovely. Very much like I would have imagined and it was so nice to finally meet in person. :)

Yes! Also meeting ilxors after years of online interaction and finding out they're also great in real life is the best (I had a fabulous evening with Jaq when I visited Seattle last year, also exactly how I imagined she would be in real life)

I met jaq and kate78 and donna brown(!) and a few others with Rev back in 2013, i think. gosh that was fun, and that house had more records than i had ever seen in a private collection

Ah its been years since I last met up with an ilxor! I've met mookie, caek (I think??), donut bitch, and obv all the local crew (esoj, s-, haitch, sic, moley, edwardO etc etc). I know Ive met another US ilxor too but I forget what his handle was, lxy's friend? Ugh too much alcohol.

Ailsa - yes! Think this was remarkable because we've known each other for so long online at this point. I asked about lxy and jergns because I did meet them maybe 15 years ago (wtf) bit hadn't seen them here in ages. Anyway was great. Would kick it with again in a heartbeat.

my big regret is having been way too awkward and shy to meet up with the melbourne ilx cru back when I was living there in the late 00s.

but i have met seandalai, wins and lex since and they were all awesome, love meeting ilxors in person

i saw hadrian at the record show last sunday. haven't seen him for years. though i don't think he posts here much anymore if at all. i was just thinking when we were driving thru northampton the other day about the time i saw momus on the street. such a weird person to see on the street in western mass.

i feel bad that i haven't seen adamrl in years. he lives right up the road from me! though i don't think he has posted here in forever.

Lxy and jergins secretly arranged with my husband to surprise me with a fly-by visit a few years ago, which was lovely except that I was mega depressed at the time so I don’t think i was much fun :/ Luckily it was not my first time meeting them. Have been lucky enough to meet a ton of ilxors.

Table was the first person I got drunk with when I moved to the US! Jesus fuck that was 16yrs ago
