ok the detail that is killing me this season is how every one of the "Joey's Take" bits use the same camera angles in nearly the same order

very funny that of all the insane and deeply hurtful shit Tim says to Gregg the only thing that's stuck with him is him saying he hasn't seen Sully. like his entire credibility is on the line.

and yeah amazing episode made me laugh out loud probably a dozen times. maybe most at Tim's phone playing the On Cinema theme song in the middle Gregg's segment

honestly I'm just really impressed by all the format-busting stuff this show does, I still think about that Oscar Special where Gregg put up his archival website with the backup copy of Tim's crash hidden away in some folder knowing that people would discover it in real time

the last two Oscar Specials especially, I recently rewatched them both and it's nuts they were able to do them live. that something so funny could turn into a riveting drama by the end is really amazing, like that "oh shit oh shit I dunno if I can watch this" feeling is something I associate with like, Breaking Bad
