it's just weird how badly it's employed within Premier League.
even PRO, the referee association that handles Major League Soccer matches, does a better job of managing VAR. they get far less shit wrong and they go to the monitor far less often. but nobody gives a fuck about that league so maybe that's why they don't care about drawing out every decision.
