cypress hill!! so good to see you here tonight - i don't think i've mentioned outside the queer thread that i am formerly surm - Swen is a character from one of my favorite episodes of the golden girls and i guess i like S's. mayb some knew this already but i figured it's worth a mention.

Having seen every episode of the GGs multiple times I am now trying to remember which episode. I feel like Swen was the tall strapping guy who showed up from at Olaf. Did he think he was supposed marry rose? Trying to remember without googling.

Swen was (I think) Rose’s cousin who was visiting her or something

And he ended up comforting Blanche when she was being treated like garbage by some suitor

The joke was in the acting and the writing, because Swen was initially a very literal minded simpleton but the slyly slightly more complex

In my memory the actor looked like Jaws from the Bond movies but I’m sure that’s not quite right

re: thread revive, calstars she transitioned and that's her deadname. she's not stealth but i'm not gonna link her new account to her deadname in public. i'm sure you weren't intentionally deadnaming her, just for anybody who didn't know, it is a deadname, idk how she personally feels about it but in general it's a good idea to avoid using deadnames unless the person in question says otherwise :)
