If you wanna criticize his physicality, it's super easy to train all of your focus on the shit he actively does to make himself monstrous as part of his personal brand without ever even touching on stuff like his weight.

It's not really any different from telling a 'fat joke' and having a friend with obesity walk by and be hurt and you saying "oh I wasn't talking about YOU".

the 'being fat' is the joke and is, as such, punching down. making fun of Trump for lying about his weight seems to be more mocking him for lying about everything, even unimportant things, than the actual being fat. possibly borderline but at least I understand that better than 'hur hur when Trump sits around the house..." jokes.

I just came home from the public library having checked out the book his niece Mary Trump wrote about him and their incredibly damaged family. I'm not sure how much of it I can stomach, but I'm going to give it a trial.
