WTF, why do midgets need repair?!

Hurting 2, Tuesday, 9 October 2007 22:43 (eighteen years ago)

I think I've told this story here before but when I was in the aiport in Kuala Lumpur with a couple of hours to kill, I went to the bookstore, and there prominently displayed was a copy of Henry Ford's "The International Jew" in a recently-printed Malaysian edition

punch line, also true: it was right next to a copy of "the protocols of the elders of zion"

That awful new twinings advert (in which Stephen Fry expresses disdain after the older white women tell him that the young black waiter has been 'filling us in'): tasteless and unfunny, or tasteless, unfunny, and racist?

1962

Partly in response to the civil rights movement, Crayola decides to change the name of the “flesh” crayon to “peach.” Renaming this crayon was a way of recognizing that skin comes in a variety of shades.

The Dutch word 'Negerzoen' translates to the English word 'Niggerkiss'.

xpost - Anyone know anything about this? ^^

Apparently it's a poster for the film "The Bad Bunch." The title was changed because no theaters would book the film with its original title.

From IMDB: "A white veteran goes to a black ghetto to deliver a letter from his black Army buddy who died in Vietnam. He encounters hostility and trouble from all sides."

How about some delicious Mohr im Hemd..

Probably about the third most popular dessert in Austria (after Sachertorte and Applestrudel) Mohr im Hemd translates to "Negro in a Shirt"

Some more adventurous restaurants serve this with vanilla ice cream and call it "Negro in the Antarctic"

http://lh5.ggpht.com/enar.skog/Ry9ud4fS9YI/AAAAAAAAAUY/Z5wft9ud4NE/DSC02994.JPG?imgmax=512

PS. It does actually taste really good!

If you can't make it out in the picture, it is chocolate sponge cake with chocolate sauce and cream!
