doin good no a care in the world
Trump just posted this to Truth Social, and it’s alarming. He makes no sense at all. His words are garbled and slurred, his hair is mussed. He’s swaying, blinking excessively, and sweating. It’s actually frightening. Does he need medical help? pic.twitter.com/bVG6fs3k8D— Mike Sington (@MikeSington) August 17, 2023

that tweet got my hopes up. he made it sound like he was having a mental breakdown, but Mike Sington was just fantasizing. it was just standard Trump stuff. he just tried to cram in as many of his 'clever nicknames' as possible and it was like a traffic jam between his brain and his tongue. other than that, business as usual.

there's also those GOP voters who will vote Trump simply because, "suck it, woke libs" is their only thought process entering the voting booth

Yeah sounded like normal trump rhetoric and delivery. Here we go again with the “Trumps losing his mind” pictures and vids everyone oversells for attention and engagement just like any other clickbait. Not like I wouldn’t love to witness his mashed potato brain oozing out of his ears...
― But his face would not turn into hot Kirby (Evan), Friday, 18 August 2023 03:24 (two years ago)
xp He did seem a little more unhinged than usual. It was sort of reminiscent of the press conference he held, I think it was the Thursday after the election, where he just stood at the podium and rattled off all of this conspiracy nonsense. I really thought he had lost his mind then.

iirc trump has an open invite to come back to Twitter and has been restricted by contract provisions with truth social which are expiring soon or are about to expire or something. I’m sure he’ll come back to Twitter like he came back from Covid and ripped his mask off

he's unbanned, I'm sure he can just log in and post if he wants. idk if "contract provisions" really matter to Trump I mean this guy breaks the law constantly I think it's more likely he just doesn't want to, maybe just because he dislikes Elon, more likely because he's not crazy about the optics of returning to a platform you got very famously banned from

ATLANTA — The FBI has joined an investigation into a barrage of threats against Fulton County officials in recent days, including members of the Atlanta-area grand jury that voted to indict former president Donald Trump and 18 of his allies in a sweeping criminal case focused on alleged 2020 election interference....The statement came amid growing concern about the safety of grand jurors involved in Monday’s indictment after the names, home addresses, photos and social media profiles of some members of the panel circulated online along with threatening messages targeting them and Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D), whose office is prosecuting the case.Under Georgia law, names of grand jurors are publicly listed on indictments — an effort at transparency that some have questioned in light of ongoing threats in the aftermath of the charges against Trump and 18 others accused of conspiring to overturn Georgia’s 2020 presidential election results.

i saw the fbi went to talk to a lady that made a online threat against a grand juror and she was all i was just talking i had no plans to go to atlanta which is what one should say under those circumstances but then she said however if they came to my town theyd have a problem which is what you shouldnt say
― lag∞n, Saturday, 19 August 2023 14:35 (two years ago)
but if she gets asked about that latter threat during a court case she can just say she was just talking again, this time to the fbi, she had no plans to do anything to the grand juror if she came to her town and there wouldn't be a problem.
however if the fbi and the grand juror were to come to the court case they'd have a problem though
