just to torture myself i watched about...7 minutes of jordan peterson and bill maher(!!) on bill maher's podcast show on youtube. a show which is supposed to be edgy because its in bill maher's basement and he takes an excruciatingly long time to smoke pot and get high on it. i had watched some of the show-biz episodes because i am a sucker for olde-tyme stories about late-70s and early-80s stand up comedians.

dude - peterson - can barely talk. there is something wrong with him. it made me a little queasy. and yes bill maher has episodes with kid rock and even that awful gutfeld guy from fox because politically incorrect you can't tell me who to have on my show blah blah uhhhhggggg.

maybe it has gotten to the point where bill maher's basement is a highlight publicity-wise for peterson. but maybe that's wishful thinking and he's still huge out there. i don't know.

bill maher will go off on "woke kids" at the drop of a hat. it doesn't even have to have anything to do with the discussion. he just brings it up. he's obsessed with those woke kids. they are ruining the nation apparently. (and yet he was warning people about trump before trump was president. he even said that trump wouldn't leave office or accept defeat before trump was president. so, he's on the ball every five years or so.)
