I remember the CK ads from that period with the same models and rec-room setup, but somehow having the interrogator/cameraman added to it takes it to a creepier level. How it's different from the "Criminal" video (which I don't mind) is a whole other debate.

So, Friday the 13th got better as it went along and had a decent ending.

Friday the 13th II was not as good and seemed to end quite aburptly, as though they just ran out of funding or something.

that's the thing, maybe it's just me, but I've seen enough faux-low-budget pornspoitation stuff that I keep waiting for the camera man to say, "What would you do for $50?" And that puts me on edge, somehow.

The CK thread actually came from my friend's reaction to a Larry Clark exhibition.

grr. That last smoke was more stressful than relaxing. I was approached by a drunk bum, explained to him that I didn't have anymore smokes on me, and he asked if he could have the butt when I was finished. "You're just going to stand here while I smoke?" "Well... yeah! What else I got to do?" Good point, Mr. Bum. So I uncomfortably finished the smoke while he talked piles of nonsense for the next three or four minutes, until I gave him the butt, feeling a little defeated.

I did give him some change, though.

It's very unusual to not be able to brush onf of those guys off. I think he was feeling extra tenacious because he was drunk. He told me so. "I'm really fucked up." I was not at ease.

I tried to brush off this (not homeless) guy on my way to work today. I just wasn't in the mood to make small talk, so I tried to play the antisocial ipod move combined with a quick, polite nod. DID NOT WORK. He stood right in front of me waving his hands all around so I'd take my earbuds out to talk to him. Blah.

My lunch was a total let-down today. I'm so jealous of the falafel. I had a pbj and pretzel nugs.

If your company has a messenger-service account, maybe I can send some your way.

Someday we will be able to attach falafel to an e-mail.

In other news, I want a huge budget for ORGANIZING our apartment.

Like, for shelves and containers and such?

I need to get to the container store for a couple of those underbed clothes bins. I have way too many clothes.

Yeah. The guitar room closet is such a mess. And the sad thing is that a while back I spent some monies at c0ntainer store, took everything out of the closet, and put everything back in. But now it looks like hell again. It just isn't practical. There are so many tiny containers, but to get to them you have to be standing partially inside this closet, which is packed and things are falling on your head...

Meanwhile, I also spent monies to organize our old practice space, which burnt down shortly afterwards. (But whatcha gonna do about that?)

And I can't find any of our spices when I need them, though I realize we should just toss some of them.

I'm so weird that I'm excited about getting home today and organzing something.

that's not weird! I don't get that bug often enough, but when I do, I know not to waste it.

My Tortoise channel on Pandora is perfect for working.

I got the cleaning urge last week and then picked up a bottle of wine on the way home from work and didn't quite get around to cleaning. All I want to do when I get home from work today is pass out.
