I had been checking in with a handful of twitter accounts since I nuked mine, so it was a surprise this morning to not be able to do that. However, I just googled "can't view twitter without account" and found records of people complaining about this problem in the pre-Musk days as well. Not that I don't blame Musk for this instance, but Twitter's jankiness does precede him.

Yeah for about a year pre-Musk I couldn't get read with no account, which is how I found out about nitter. It became available again when Musk took over, probably cos he sacked so many ppl lol
