Photoshop some Uggs on him

The 'Trump sucks' thread has morphed into the 'DeSantis sucks' thread so slowly I barely noticed. No doubt Ronald would consider this a measure of success.

desantis' boots only white to distract from the weird fuckin shit going on with the cop's left foot - looks like he's just snapped his ankle?

I just read a piece speculating that Trump might pick Marge Greene as his running mate. Please, oh please.

New via AJC: Fulton County DA Fani Willis tells law enforcement to expect a decision on whether Trump will be charged over his efforts to overturn 2020 election results between July 11 and September 1.

— Hugo Lowell (@hugolowell) April 24, 2023

Josh in Chicago, Monday, 24 April 2023 21:07 (three years ago)

Willis revealed the timetable in a letter to local law enforcement in which she asked them to be ready for “heightened security and preparedness” because she predicted her announcement “may provoke a significant public reaction.”

just do it now whats the problem

lag∞n, Monday, 24 April 2023 21:09 (three years ago)

Gotta prepare, I guess. Police barriers don't put up themselves.

Josh in Chicago, Monday, 24 April 2023 21:12 (three years ago)

Between July 11 and September 1. Okay.

Possibly in Fulton County but maybe in, heck, I dunno, Tulsa?

There will be between 1 and 73 charges.

Possible statutes under which the charges may fall can be found in U.S. Code sections 1 through 597, and Georgia Code sections 2 through 434.

It's like he can't hide his general resentment of the world and dislike of being questioned, and can only react with sarcasm. I do wonder what that cut in the middle of the video is about, though, so it seems like the video has been altered at least a little to cut out something in the middle

Kinda rocking the Paul Lynde vibe - camp is king

Andy the Grasshopper, Monday, 24 April 2023 22:51 (three years ago)

did not think I could possibly hate this guy anymore but the way he talk about "the N-word" every single time he gets up to speak is so fucking infuriating. even as a bad South Park style joke it makes no sense!! people say "nuclear" all the time! idk just feels like with all the talk about Trump being a criminal and traitor he felt the need to remind them that he's also a racist as well

Judge in Carroll v. Trump case admonished Trump for social media comments, telling Trump's lawyer: “We’re getting into an area, conceivably, where your client may or may not be tampering with a new source of potential liability" https://t.co/ZgG18joSc3

— erica orden (@eorden) April 26, 2023

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 26 April 2023 16:57 (three years ago)

Trump's lawyer seemed to acknowledge the difficulty of restraining his client:

“Here’s all I can tell you: I will speak to my client and ask him to refrain from any further posts regarding this case...I will do the best I can do, your honor. That’s all I can say.”

Never thought I would be rooting for Disney in a jurisdiction dispute but here we are

strange bedfellows

Suddenly I'm in House Mouse

pinot grigioriffic (Ye Mad Puffin), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 17:56 (three years ago)

lol yeah prior to this brouhaha Disney was very persona non grata in my circle for how they treated international exchange employees during the pandemic, as well as how poorly they pay and treat their employees (when compared to Universal Studios).

but sometimes the enemy of the enemy is your friend!

Cthulhu Diamond Phillips (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 17:58 (three years ago)

I've started to realize a lot of lawyers love being on TV so maybe that's why

frogbs, Wednesday, 26 April 2023 18:00 (three years ago)

Neanderthal, my man: I was reflexively anti-Disney for most of my life. But in perhaps 2018, my wife and children sat me down and basically told me that there was a narrow window in which we would, collectively, be likely to enjoy a vacation in that allegedly magical place, and we needed to do it exactly then.

So I obligingly contributed something like eight thousand dollars to your local economy. (You're welcome.) We had an okay time. My children outgrew everything Disney-related. After that I didn't ever want to think about the Mouse again, and now here I am thinking about MouseCorp again. Fuck you, Ron.

pinot grigioriffic (Ye Mad Puffin), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 18:10 (three years ago)

i actually went last month! had been my first time in like 15 years, lol.

Cthulhu Diamond Phillips (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 18:27 (three years ago)

I went to Disneyland when I was about five and have almost no memory of it other than the submarine ride and the Pirates of the Caribbean ride, which was a little scary. I went to Disney World when I was 10 — I remember that one a little better, because EPCOT had just opened. It was fine. I enjoyed watching the Disney TV show as a kid way more than I did going to the actual parks.

but also fuck you (unperson), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 18:49 (three years ago)

All that said, I hope Disney steamrolls DeSantis until he's personally on the street shaking a cup for coins.

but also fuck you (unperson), Wednesday, 26 April 2023 18:49 (three years ago)

DeSantis seems hellbent on being the most despised politician in the country, which doesn't bode well for his political future
