I think he was just referring to the option Hugo had just laid out for the kids which they rejected. Like that Logan was becoming incompetent etc

The Princess Diaries

i found last night's ep p excruciating, not in a bad way, but even though these characters are mostly amoral heels it is kind of painful to watch them selfishly and ineptly wander into oblivion. greg's running commentary of kerry's arrival at the house was gruelling - felt p sorry for kerry, tho obviously marcia's twisting of the knife was, i guess, justified, at least in her eyes. the ending is going to be super-bleak, isn't it?

I enjoyed this fine, last week tough to follow. But also found myself feeling that ending it with S4 was a good call. Some of the dynamics felt a bit familiar (although I feel this show will have at least one epic rug-pull lined up before the finale).

Yeah definitely. I mean, they've not even been joint CEOs for more than 10 minutes and Kendall's already going behind Roman's back with the Bad Dad thing

Hugo's own smile in response to that like he was almost enjoying Kendall's ability to act like his Dad.

He's so great. I get really fed up with the pieces about him that ridicule his method, etc - the results are stunning. I like people who commit to what they do, and his excessive efforts absolutely pay off with this performance.

eh i guess it's like if you work with someone who does good work, that's cool but he's probably a lot to deal with even for an actor. yeah he's top notch for sure but so is brian cox & kiernan and sarah shook and alan ruck by all accounts none of them pull that kind of diva stuff

first half felt a little rote, like they were almost obligated to show everybody's claim to the throne, felt a little going through the motions. the mysterious piece of paper in logan's safe felt like a law school exam. episode got some juice going after that though

think shiv's baby is pretty clearly Tom's - don't think they'd toss in another option here

kendall's capacity for self-destruction always amazing

I think it's ambiguous in terms of her having told Connor yet, but when they get him in the room to tell him about Logan she says "Dad's on an airplane to Sweden, but they're coming back. We think he died. They...they think he died." I mean either way I guess she did tell him he wasn't coming to the wedding...

I just kind of assumed that Marcia was happy to have a quick sale without dealing with bullshit, even if she didn't milk Connor for all she could. I mean it was probably also thrown in to underscore that she isn't their to mourn, she's there to make moves.

Plus the place isn't even necessarily hers to sell (who knows yet what Logan pencilled about that) and she may have been well aware of this.

so many amazing frank and karl moments, the meeting to "look at the china" and especially frank's teardown of tom's chances were the funniest this show has been this season
