I’m frankly amazed at her recent tweets. An old woman pretty much mic dropping on the trans debate.

didn't take long to get back to the era where you'd click a trending topic and it would just be a bunch of random stuff with the same assortment of hashtags which had nothing to do with the post for whatever reason

when you click on a notification that someone has liked your tweet, it no longer sends you to that tweet (or a list of the three tweets of yours they have liked) - it just sends you to the list of liked tweets on their profile, which also seems to be about a day out of date. why?

I think before Elon's takeover there was definitely a team filtering the stuff trending for no reason out. would definitely slip through sometimes though.

This seems bleak.

1) Serious foreign influence campaigns continue online.

2) Twitter no longer is working with Facebook on these investigations and seems to be completely open to manipulation.

I personally knew one (1) engineer who thought the acquisition was good news. Anti mask, anti vax, pro just asking questions logic guy. He scoffed at people who worried about it, and told me I was making a mistake when I quit. He got fired in that first week. That was pretty good too.

He’d been there ten years. Awful person but very effective senior staff engineer. But because he was effective at that level he wrote about five lines of code per year. Whoops! Leopard MY face.
