in this review (of a newer book) it’s mentioned that he once again mentions that relationship from his teens, but only to say she was hot or something

if any of these people were pretending to do be journalists they’d remember that you’re supposed to put together facts in a way that shows a narrative of what happened, but calling them Incoherents is good imo because all of their writing is “here are a strict of e-mail messages or whatever — you know what this means” where there is no singular, comprehensible meaning
