Yeah I don't think it is Lyttelton/Banks Peninsula, it looks much too populated.

dunedin fits the geography, i couldn't find the castle though

I think the top of a ski slope looks right - the left hand side as we look at it has nothing behind it and the right hand side drops away

To me it’s a river above the seating of a sports ground, with a railway line between. Looks like Europe maybe?

Yeah I don't think it can be a stadium, the shape is irregular and it's in a steep slope
The rest of the terrain is pretty flat if you look at the horizon but that "railway" (that I took to be road at first) looks like a funicular ?

Only viewing on my phone and not able to have a better look but from memory the big cemetery in Stuttgart is on a hill and has a funicular running behind it.

Not sure it's got any water that close to it though.

i think most of the appearance of a slope and the funny shape of the stadium seating towards the lower right is due to lens distortion. look at the the funny shapes of the trees over there and the blurriness. its possible the image has been cropped toward the right side of the frame which can introduce an apparent tilt.

it also looks like a standard railway, regular sleepers etc and catenary type that is common in germany and france at least. there are no signs of it being a funicular and i wouldn't expect to see a river or lake at the top of a hill.

the biggest clue might be the colour of the stadium seats but idk. could also be an odd or horseshoe shaped stadium which might indicate a particular sport?

i'm voting for stadium - curiously the colour pattern isn't completely random, each block has the same pattern.

it's very flat. looks like a suspension bridge in the middle but the towers are very close together.

Aren't parts of Germany pretty flat?

There are an awful lot of green domed buildings in Germany - but I can't find this one.

Could this possibly be one of the lakes near Berlin?

could be anywhere in Eastern Europe - even parts of Scandinavia maybe. Still no real ideas here :(

I googled German tram stop and it was very close, then Polish tram stop and they have this blue sign.

I googled foetus in heart and it found the right picture but it's a stock illustration.

probably just a matter of finding that "black with green stripe and station name" tram stop enclosure. ive checked a bunch of central/eastern europe cities but havent found it yet, theres too many with trams

actually this looks more like a wider gauge "light rail" than a "tram"

but maybe they're called the same thing in europe

that would be the speedway stadium, I guess - the first one is an athletics/track & field place
