Will that guy on Jeopardy ever lose?

I don't know but whatever it was it was awful. I hated him instantly but then he pulled out the dead sister dying wish thing and I felt sort of bad about it.

ARGH i forgot that was the last episode of the season and that guy is on ice for the next several months!
When's the next season start? January?

MOTHERFUCKER SERIOUSLY? I just watched today's episode and was pissed there'd be 2 weeks of teen tournament, but there's no new ones til winter? I don't think of Jeopardy as having seasons.

I love it when contestants get so frustrated with someone else constantly ringing in first that it becomes their only mission to edge them out, and then they finally do and for a milisecond they're thrilled but then they realize they have no clue what the correct response is.

according to youtube: Jeopardy! usually starts on the first Monday in September (occassionally, it may start the second Monday in September), so the 26th season should start Monday September 7th.

The coverage of the Professor Gates arrest is starting to astound me–mostly Internet comments. I violated the First Rule of Staying Sane Online: “never look at the comments section under any non-sports story on a newspaper’s website.”

Having occasionally had the misfortune to read comments on sports stories I don't think you're helping your sanity reading those either. Jennings come off as an incredibly balanced guy.

The only time I have ever thought about getting TiVo/DVR/whatever is to watch Jeopardy! A total travesty that it's nowhere online or on DVD.

After the digital switch I lost the network that shows Jeopardy! in my town.
Totally pissed.

yeah, he was in the red for pretty much the entire episode, and then at the end they gave him a free thousand to bet on w/ Final Jeopardy, and he got to double it with the softest of softball questions (something about "an actor that ironically lost a role as Vice President in 1960 for not looking 'presidential' enough")

Wolf was pretty bad in the training game, too. I thought The Tonight Show just edited to make him look bad, but it's clear that they didn't have to.
