Never been to Puerto Rico but not really getting a Caribbean island vibe from that pic. Still thinking it's somewhere a bit cold and damp in mainland USA

I poked around Juneau for a bit the other day, it did look right for a few reasons but I couldn't find the spot

The bumpy little hills on the other side of the bay/sound are pretty distinctive

alaska has yellow license plates which we see in pic 2 but not on the sedan or the truck in pic 1, what are the chances. seems like the least likely state to have 2 out of state vehicles in one place (from 2 different states)

i guess if the sedan is a BC plate then that improves the odds a little

Great work, Ciderpress. I didn’t really wander far from picture 1. If for some reason it was going to carry on longer there are many street view pics with a massive cruise liner in the port.

i followed my previous train of thought of 'white plates in alaska -> might be BC plates -> alaska near BC' and then was lucky enough to drop the streetview guy right on the same block as pic #2 when i checked that town

props to the people who identified it as alaska though, i was looking in oregon before that

yeah I've been looking for football pitches on the outskirts of the likes of Rochdale, Oldham, Buxton, Blackburn and Burnley but nothing as yet

I wonder if the wooden repairs to the (canteen?) mean that there was a fire there (somewhere before 2019 as that is the Google copyright date) & this window+roof are new but then the budget was gone? (Or that I just have an over-active imagination)

Not much to go on, other than it looks like the north of England. And even that doesn't seem certain, I mean it could be Ireland or Scotland.

... what is that green box/object ? A fancy garbage bin, so close to another one just outside the park?

I'm curious about that strange gate in the fence. Is that perhaps a gate to a dog run, designed to keep dogs from running out while the gate is open? I've never seen that design before. That might explain the small garbage bin on the fence (for dog waste) vs the larger bin outside.

What nonsense. As I tell all my friends whenever we come across such a gate, it comes from the fact that you have to give the person in front a kiss before they allow you to pass through.
