Sinner vs Alcaraz seemed a marvellous prospect and felt like an epic to me - must have lasted 3.5 hours? - even though it wasn't 5 sets. I was surprised, perhaps naively, by how much Sinner dominated. The levels of power and skill in this match were still going to the end. Maybe Alcaraz underperformed, though, given the quality we've seen him produce before?
