depths.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:21 (eighteen years ago)

bathroom sinks
both of em
$413!
i have tried to do this myself, but the build-up was so far down and through crooked pipes that i couldn't do it without the motorized thingie they use.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:26 (eighteen years ago)

Wow. You could have maybe bought a motorized thingy for that price.

Jesse, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:26 (eighteen years ago)

Easier said than done.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

And then we could get together sometime and use it to plumb Kenan's depths.

Jesse, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

Every time a sink gets clogged, I think to myself that I should keep some liquid plumr or something around to use if the drain even gets a little bit slow. Preventative, like. But have I ever done this? No.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

Actually for a buuuuuunch less, but you'd also need a high-powered drill, I think...or at least the heavy-duty snakes I saw at the hardware store were meant to be attached to a drill, I dunno exactly what professionals use.

Laurel, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:27 (eighteen years ago)

These guys had a machine -- there was no rinky dink drill attachment. It was like a motor-rotor thing. I am not averse to dealing with the stench of built-up pipe crud, but this is way built up from the people who lived here before and never cleaned a pipe ever.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:29 (eighteen years ago)

Nick, they used to include cds for macs...I know I was able to get ahold of one.

sisut, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:34 (eighteen years ago)

xp I love heavy machinery. Getting Stuff Done is great.

Laurel, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:35 (eighteen years ago)

isn't it, though? :)

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:47 (eighteen years ago)

I got a day's work done today before lunch. I'm not going to point this out to anyone around here, just quietly wait for someone to be wowed.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:47 (eighteen years ago)

they're going to follow that "wow" with "here's some more work"

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:49 (eighteen years ago)

whatever. I got my protein shake; I'm ready. Bring it on, bitches.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:51 (eighteen years ago)

An actor I worked with in Minneapolis suggested we name our troupe the Bring It On Bitch Theatre Co.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:57 (eighteen years ago)

do not bring that on, kthx

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 17:59 (eighteen years ago)

lol park overall

jaymc, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:04 (eighteen years ago)

Along the lines of what not to bring on, my friend's photography blog linked to these banned Calvin Klein commercials from the 90s. Jeez.

Eazy, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:05 (eighteen years ago)

CK = slang for "chickenhawk"

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:07 (eighteen years ago)

I couldn't watch much of that. It made me feel seedy.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:07 (eighteen years ago)

I couldn't either.

KitCat, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:08 (eighteen years ago)

It's really, really seedy. I didn't get more than 30 seconds into it either.

Eazy, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:08 (eighteen years ago)

I watched the whole thing!

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:09 (eighteen years ago)

And now I feel seedy, but not that bad. I've felt worse.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:09 (eighteen years ago)

plz don't tell kate masonic about this.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:09 (eighteen years ago)

before there was American Apparel, there was CK

dan m, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:11 (eighteen years ago)

yeah, i mean big deal. how is that different than looking at a smutty poloroid on the back of the reader?

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:12 (eighteen years ago)

I like it when dude says "That's a pretty good mosh."

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:12 (eighteen years ago)

That's a pretty good mosh.

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:12 (eighteen years ago)

"Do you always do what you don't want to do?"
"No, I do what I want to do and I don't do what I don't want to do."

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

These are mostly just funny.

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

positively rumsfeldian

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

I remember the CK ads from that period with the same models and rec-room setup, but somehow having the interrogator/cameraman added to it takes it to a creepier level. How it's different from the "Criminal" video (which I don't mind) is a whole other debate.

Eazy, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

xp They should have been playing Anthrax in the background.

dan m, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:13 (eighteen years ago)

Marching?
No moshing.

I mean, they're not that bad. I'm glad they weren't on tv, but they're not kiddie porn stored behind the family couch.

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:14 (eighteen years ago)

Sorry guys, these are just funny. The narrator dude is just trying way too hard.

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:14 (eighteen years ago)

They're mostly just awkward to watch.

KitCat, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:15 (eighteen years ago)

"Do you work out?"
"Yeah."
"I CAN TELL."

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:15 (eighteen years ago)

I keep trying to post "That's a pretty good mosh" but it won't let me because it's a duplicate.

n/a, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:16 (eighteen years ago)

So, Friday the 13th got better as it went along and had a decent ending.

Friday the 13th II was not as good and seemed to end quite aburptly, as though they just ran out of funding or something.

It is worth it to see any of the others?

KitCat, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:16 (eighteen years ago)

that's the thing, maybe it's just me, but I've seen enough faux-low-budget pornspoitation stuff that I keep waiting for the camera man to say, "What would you do for $50?" And that puts me on edge, somehow.

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:17 (eighteen years ago)

How on earth am I more impervious to smut than Kenan?!!?

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:17 (eighteen years ago)

Could be worse, they could be in the back of a van. :(

kenan, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:18 (eighteen years ago)

You looked at all that bathroom sink buildup and it hardened you.

KitCat, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:18 (eighteen years ago)

Friday the 13th Part III is worth it if you can see the 3-D version.

Eazy, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:18 (eighteen years ago)

haha sarah
that must be it

La Lechera, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:19 (eighteen years ago)

FRIGHTENED RABBIT
Empty Bottle, 10/15, free

(w/ Sharx, right? I am so there. I actually really liked FR.)

dan m, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:21 (eighteen years ago)

That sounds good, EZ, but HOW?
HEY! This would be a great thing to get our hands on for a theater rental.

KitCat, Monday, 17 September 2007 18:22 (eighteen years ago)
