Man, seeing Bo Hopkins' name in the opening credits almost always promised a good time.
Always found it weirdly endearing how he gets unceremoniously offed in each of his Peckinpah films.
Personal memory: Several years ago I vended at a big indoor holiday weekend car show where Hopkins and Candy Clark had a multi-day engagement with a joint autograph & merch booth. I passed them by several times over the weekend on food runs (they were set up across from a concession stand), and I've always regretted being too shy to go over and talk to them for a little while, because it seemed they were unengaged and hating life most of the time.
