Tbh it is unconscionable that he remains heralded by many as an important figure.

I first saw him as shoeless joe, when it came out. One of the first movies I saw, I think, that I can remember. As I get older I really really appreciate his performance in that.

Of course, I saw goodfellas later on and realized what a force of nature he was. His sudden laughs, in that film - so good
