Does that German poster say "The big wetmakers?"

well, if we’re just posting 1980s posters, here’s some bonus Adams:

Troma Entertainment promotional materials for "Death to the Pee Wee Squad", a 1980s homemade feature film written, produced and directed by Neal Adams - starring his kids, and featuring comics people like Denys Cowan, Larry Hama, Gray Morrow and Gary Groth. pic.twitter.com/oA2hjyzIp2

Although it's not in the same style I was struck by this poster for Spartacus, which seems to be based on the standard UK/US poster, but drawn in a cartoonish style:
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0598/2925/products/C6cu4bZ.jpg?v=1531004670

"See A MAN WHO MIGHT BE KIRK DOUGLAS SPIT BLOOD, and also see HIS ANIME LADY WIFE". I didn't realise until googling it that Spart started a wave - or restarted a wave - of Italian Spartacus films, including Spartacus and the Ten Gladiators and the Steve Reeves-starring Son of Spartacus, which sidestepped the major barrier to a sequel by having Reeves portray Spartacus' son.

Sadly there isn't a Conan vs Spartacus. Yet. Did Spartacus have a superpower? He was just good with a sword, and charismatic.

Paul Sorvino's passing made me think of the forgotten 1986 comedy Vasectomy, which I was delighted to discover scored a Mort Drucker illustration -- sadly less busy than some:

96% of the fun is contained in the poster, leaving very little to spread across the three-hour running time.

the same director did a film called 'My Demon Lover' (imdb synopsis "A homeless street musician becomes a demon when sexually aroused") which would have totally had one of these posters if came out a few years earlier, but sadly it was released in 1987 so the poster looked like this:

Good one, classic homage to the aesthetic. I hadn't realized Christopher Lloyd was still working, and then I looked at his wikipedia and holy shit he works a lot! 9 movies just in the last 3 years, though I will not be investigating their quality
