Hard to keep track of which threads people get annoyed by at this point.

This thread has the potential to be troublesome but seems kind of uncharitable to complain about it, since it is mostly a good thing.

Those threads exist - this is not one of them imo

as if they would even notice it -- it's nice to be able to say something nice about another person. i do not feel it is cliquey nor offputting, though the term "circle jerk" certainly is.
