I tried taking the worldle update, maybe it didn't work?

Worldle answer was Costa Rica for me today, I don't remember getting it before though I occasionally forget to play so I have missed a couple.

Teamwork on today’s Redactle: I got the second word, then he got the first. I was similarly taken back to A-level lessons, over 40 years ago and long forgotten.

Yeah I definitely had that Worldle answer before, and both Monaco and Uruguay from the previous two days.

Yeah I saw Monaco for the second time in Worldle, but I haven't been playing long enough to have seen any other dupes.

Gave up on today's Redactle at 96 because I didn't want to spend the next 19 hours in an inclined plane type situation. I did get distribution but after flexing my weak stats muscles for bit ran out of ideas for the first word

oh yeah, I definitely saw Costa Rica before. Maybe it's recycling, the source code link is on the ? page but I can't dig in to it until later.

I got today's Redactle in 12. Spotting what looked like a list of awards, I guessed "role" at 6, then "actor" and "actress". Then I saw repeated mentions of an italicised Out Of, which gave me "Africa" at 9. "Jane" (as in Fonda) was 10, "Streep" at 11.

Yup, stunned myself in 4. that italicised 'out of' in the intro set me off very early - basically just checked his or her.

Yesterday, tapped out at 41 had distribution, but had nothing after 'standard' beyond guessing plausible-sounding mathy things.

oh - a thought - if saying 'we got it super-quick' about today's is in itself a clue, pls mods delete post.

Redactle #20 in 22! I didn't notice Out of but the parenthetical in the beginning looked like a birth date, and a lucky guess of "she" led me down the right path for once.

19, I figured it might be out of Africa but decided to pussyfoot around first with actor (which didn't help), film, etc. also couldn't remember who was in it, and tried Jane (Fonda) and (Kathleen) Turner.

A Facebook friend got it in 3, again by spotting Out Of. So perhaps 2 is an attainable score today.

had the gender and occupation wrong for the first 80%. 'eat' was my one 0 word

more wasted guesses on Here We Go Again when the ????? ???! had made that obvious

yeah 2 would have been possible if you squinted long enough at the awards section at the end, I got it in 7 but didn't really learn anything from my first couple of guesses

I spotted “Out of” but sexistly my mind went to Robert Redford so Robert was my first guess. Then I wasted a couple of goes with his and her. “Into the” was also there as a title but I couldn’t get “Into the Wild” out of my head. Woods!

I got Redactle in 2. Actually, I got it in 3 because I stupidly typed both words for the first guess, which it turned into a single word with no space.

A vastly different experience from yesterday, when I used up 300+ guesses and never solved it. (I figured out "distribution," but not "exponential," even though I guessed "exponent" somewhere along the way.)

got it in 10, add me to the pile of africa-guessers, but then i saw "into the woods" as well and having no idea that she was involved in any production of that, took a roundabout route to the answer. i was thinking after yesterday's nightmare that i wish there was a version of redactle just for dumb assholes like me but maybe it would be too easy

feeling really dumb for having tried actor but not actress so then going in many wrong directions despite knowing that it was a woman, I had "she" and knowing that it had something to do with movies. Got it in 41.

in my experience 'him' / 'his' gets a lot of hits regardless

also 'that' and 'this'. it's odd they aren't in the common words list.

Redactle #21 in 108 guesses. "History" and "kingdom" kept me in the wrong discipline for a long time till I went for "science."

147 for me. got “animal” very quickly, but couldn’t get many specifics in, which made sense in the end since it’s an umbrella term

My first Redactle experience was guessing "prophesy" ages before getting "prophecy", and it was so discouraging I almost gave up. But my scores have been ok since: 79 / 70 / 19 / 102 / 26 / 37 / 2 (!) / 34. I'm sure I'll waste an evening on one soon and want to give up.

Redactle #21 in 52, which tbh is one of my better efforts even if it is a bad score for most ilxors (my mind isn't great at going straight for possible answers but hey, I have fun filling in words to form clumps of meaning out of the murk all the same).

Still a bit annoying as I had tried the adjectival form around ~30 but thought I was looking for a more specific taxonomy-related word, of which I entered all the ones I could think of

yeah I got just 1 hit for zoologist and figured I should try a different tack

got it in 135 spent about 30 guesses knowing exactly what the answer was but just could not think of the word and was committed to not cheating like i normally do

17 for #21 - animal was an early guess, which got me 'kingdom' in the first paragraph

#22 in 133 (62.41%) (an early guess for “religion” had only 2 hits, so I never considered the first part of today’s solution as a potential answer, just thought it might fill out some blanks)

i am terrible at this. i see 'A ??? and a ???' and i immediately think 'a hawk and a hacksaw' which is obviously bollocks but i can't get it out of my head.
