i got a very late start and went to the beginning of the stream to catch up, and then was taken off guard when the stream suddenly cut-off as the show ended. so i've only seen the first 30-40 minutes or so. i was really enjoying the interview with the guy who owns a lot of HEI points, feel very good about everyone's points getting restored to the same value, as well

but yeah what makes Toni's character so great is how real she is, she's one of the few people in Tim's sphere who wasn't struggling/incompetent and just latched onto him for a job. so she's the one who's actually kind of honest about what Tim is really like and how he operates. whenever she's on now it's like going back to The Trial

oh and the bit about Wendy Kirby was really disturbing as well, I guess he really was grooming her as everyone feared, though it was hard to think too much about it since she immediately went into the RJs Shakes making his dick not work

Lol every Oscar Special has at least one bit that makes no sense. Last year it was the Minions mysteriously appearing everywhere

Anyway now that I think about it Toni revealing that she was having an affair with both members of Dekkar but Tim not catching it because he can’t fucking shut up for two seconds is one of the best jokes of the whole thing

A lot of great stuff. Mark calling in as Alfred Hitchcock was my favorite moment. However, I now agree with Gregg and don’t want to see Dekkar ever again.

there was a dog in the film but it was not that dog and “the power of the dog” means something far less literal in the context of the film and tim getting it so wrong was on the order of gregg insisting that the wonka prequel is directed by tim burton (it’s not)

this show is the master of characters whose very presence is hilarious. Manuel looking concerned, Joe looking bored, LaRue trying to look serious and tough. the mascots in the background. Gregg in everything he does. the Chaplin's Chili guy (Hank?) being on every special despite never really being given anything to do
