Neto's coming on, that mix of excitement and worry kicking in

I have a voulez-vous? with death (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 27 February 2022 15:36 (four years ago)

The only real attacking chances have come from getting the ball on Silva's foot at the front of the box.

Gotta find other entry points as West Ham seem comfortable

sorry Mario, but our princess is in another butthole (Neanderthal), Sunday, 27 February 2022 15:39 (four years ago)

hope i didn't frighten my neighbours when i smacked the table after another failed backheel 1-2

I have a voulez-vous? with death (Noodle Vague), Sunday, 27 February 2022 15:53 (four years ago)

I also yelled at the TV.

Meh. Shit week for Wolves but sched coming up is favorable

sorry Mario, but our princess is in another butthole (Neanderthal), Sunday, 27 February 2022 15:57 (four years ago)

too many of ours didn't look like they were in a big game. West Ham are pretty good and I'm guessing most of the changes were in service of neutralising them but we had no ideas and no flair until Neto and Podence came on, and since we don't have Adama to make up for no ideas and no flair this is what you get. nice bit of fitness building for Neto tho, no point overdoing it but his feet look fine. i'd like to give Fabio more game time alongside Jimenez but then you're looking at a back 4 and i still don't think we've got the central defenders for that

anyway yeah frustrating as this week has been the real real moment of truth is that next run of 6-8 games

Alisher Usmanov has just had his assets frozen by the EU. I’d guess the U.K. will do the same.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/60565945

Everton’s line that UMC Holdings, which provides a lot of their money through sponsorships and loans, etc, is a different company to the US-sanctioned UMC LLC might not hold any water if so.

Beyond that, I guess it comes down to how deeply the government wants to dig. Moshiri is not Russian but accumulated ‘his fortune’ through UMC, Usmanov’s company. In practice, it is a fairly open secret that he’s the owner on paper because Usmanov, who continues to provide most of the finance, wouldn’t have passed the Fit And Proper Person Test.

Chelsea reportedly up for sale, with Abramovich wanting £4bn.

daniel levy sell spurs buy chelsea challenge cunt

Ár an broc a mhic (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 11:18 (four years ago)

Starting bid £100m structured over seven years, plus Harry Winks.

aiui, Abramovich has ‘lent’ Chelsea £2bn and wants that back, in addition to the club’s valuation of £2bn, which seems completely improbable.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 11:27 (four years ago)

Time to throw them out of the league

I have a voulez-vous? with death (Noodle Vague), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 12:09 (four years ago)

Tuchel whingeing about being asked questions about Abramovich was truly pathetic, you're the one that signed up with the bastards, you cunt.

Resident Papist (Tom D.), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 12:12 (four years ago)

Everton announce they have suspended all commercial sponsorship with Russian companies USM Holdings, MegaFon and Yota. 🔵 #EFC

"Everyone at Everton remains shocked and saddened by appalling events in Ukraine. Everyone providing full support to Mykolenko and his family".

— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) March 2, 2022

Great to see them stepping up and suspending all sponsorship from the guy who owns them.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 12:58 (four years ago)

I think Tuchel has been quite honest and straight forward these last few days; not really hiding at all, when it would have been easy to do so.
But I’m not sure what good it does to grill him on this issue just because you can’t speak to Abramovich directly.

groovemaaan, Wednesday, 2 March 2022 14:06 (four years ago)

im of similar mind

either straight up ask him and every player in similar boar "how dyou feel about taking oligarch money" or suck it up as the passive press you are the rest of the time

Ár an broc a mhic (darraghmac), Wednesday, 2 March 2022 14:09 (four years ago)

seems to me tuchel answered questions on abromovich the first 4 or 5 times and then got tired of being expected to answer the same slightly reworded question and variants another 4 or 5 times.

oscar bravo, Wednesday, 2 March 2022 16:13 (four years ago)

has pep been asked re zinchenko what his thoughts are on the clubs owners abstaining in UN vote about Ukraine?
