George Galloway has alleged that his daughter 'was racially abused in a Tesco for being English'

A POLICE investigation is underway after George Galloway claimed his daughter was told to "get back to England" at a supermarket.

The alleged incident is said to have occurred at Tesco in Dumfries on Tuesday afternoon.

My mum and stepdad used to holiday in Scotland. The Irish accent did well for her in non-tourist pubs, he used to cop some anti-English attitude because he's an arrogant blowhard with a Yorkshire accent, but he enjoys that kind of exchange. I can't imagine Galloway's daughter was told to go back to her "racial homeland" without some provocation.

Some fools have unsuccessfully tried to make the argument that "Kieth" is a classist slur, which is an accusation so preposterous that nobody gave a fuck. Tories may or may not have closed SureStarts but now I'm back on it they were funded for 5 years and were intended to be self funding thru reallocation of budgets and voluntary organisation contributions

this is so otm. Dr Ryan has done good work, like shining a light on how the DWP were phoning often vulnerable and worried people going through PIP tribunals that they were likely to win, to pressurize them into accepting reduced offers. I didn't see many other people giving that as much coverage and now that foul practise been stopped after a successful test case. But sometimes she's a bit reluctant to criticise and oppose the Labour Party line on matters. And sometimes she's just plain wrong. I once politely asked her and kept it polite cos she is nice, I asked why is she so supportive towards Yvette Cooper considering how much death and destruction she's wrought on a whole lot of disabled people. And her amazing answer was: How was she to know back then how terrible PFI means testing would turn out to be. I mean ...Wut?!!!
