easter looks like too many things, i like the look of jess, sammy, matt and john;) and also minus/lost

also, you know, spacebase is every friday now, thats got to be worth a look

charltonlido (gareth), Tuesday, 4 April 2006 18:11 (twenty years ago)

justus kohncke i am interested in. although i hate herbal. i saw pan|tone there and the crowd was wrong.

rchinn (rchinn), Tuesday, 4 April 2006 22:40 (twenty years ago)

Definitely going to minus/lost. Key on the 13th looks good too, but I'm seeing some very old friends earlier that night, and most likely won't be done earlier enough. Koehncke clashes with Kozepitcher.

RickyT (RickyT), Wednesday, 5 April 2006 06:30 (twenty years ago)

geeta (geeta), Thursday, 13 April 2006 01:49 (twenty years ago)

boo!

it aint a good fabric week that week. ivan smagghe but not really anyone else.

there will be something on tho. daniel bell is playing the week before with bruno pronsato at sud, that would be fun, if could go.

this might be ok ish - v french?

ambrose (ambrose), Thursday, 13 April 2006 08:22 (twenty years ago)

That looks great! You can never be too French.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 13 April 2006 08:37 (twenty years ago)

yay Geeta!

ha ha 'Alex Braze'

that Key night looks v good (Cagedbaby might sway Barima too). i would like to be there.

Konal Doddz (blueski), Thursday, 13 April 2006 08:44 (twenty years ago)

yay geeta, yay braxe!

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 13 April 2006 09:15 (twenty years ago)

Cagedbaby might play Sway?

BARMS, Thursday, 13 April 2006 09:23 (twenty years ago)

isnt cagedbaby awful, or something?

sorry, "boo" up there meant in relation to fabric, not to the news that geeta is arriving

ambrose (ambrose), Thursday, 13 April 2006 10:03 (twenty years ago)

i dont know, about anything

prins thomas is a possibility, but, which is the old blue last again? it sounds like a pub. what about spacebase, thats on tomorrow isnt it?

m_nus, am i too late for tickets? why does indecision come into things? why do i feel i must play things by ear?

prisoner#048 (gareth), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:08 (twenty years ago)

the old blue last is horrible. i don't think it's worth going there for...anything, not even prins thomas.

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:11 (twenty years ago)

have i been there? it does sound like some kind of smokey pub, perhaps we could play dominoes there? on a different day

lots of good music over this weekend, but... where are the voibes, the cuet girls, our people, the hat tippers and you?

048 (gareth), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:15 (twenty years ago)

old blue last = vice pub

where are the voibes, the cuet girls, our people, the hat tippers and you?

tomorrow night - the roxy, unfortunately (i shall not be there for obvious reasons)
saturday night - soulwax nite versions at canvas
monday night - lovelife from 5pm

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:20 (twenty years ago)

GGGGGG

i dont have any tickets for m_nus, was just going to turn up.
sent you a text about tonight if you fancy going out tonight. mulletover with jeff samuel and matt john

ambrose (ambrose), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:29 (twenty years ago)

oh yes, i just saw the txt. not sure about tonite, i hadnt factored in tonite yet.

i dont know what lex is talking about with this roxy business, or what the obvious reasons that he wont be there are

worryingly, i feel a bit like the 909fox

048 (gareth), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:49 (twenty years ago)

dont worry i am clueless too, just a hick from the sticks coming dow nto the big smoke seeking fame and fortune minimal techno

ambrose (ambrose), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:56 (twenty years ago)

There's nothing wrong with the Old Blue Last in my opinion. Just about every pub/bar in the ditch is pretty random, but this one has better music. Its got a good vibe going when the music is doing its thing.

M_nus @ Lost will be squishy I think.

rchinn (rchinn), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:58 (twenty years ago)

I don't really mind what happens this weekend, but keep me in the loop. I am quite happy to do this ludicrous Monday Stink thing though.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:58 (twenty years ago)

you have been the sinefox for quite some time now G-Daerest

Konal Doddz (blueski), Thursday, 13 April 2006 12:59 (twenty years ago)

I will be here:
saturday night - soulwax nite versions at canvas

And Monday Stink I think.

Raw Patrick (Raw Patrick), Thursday, 13 April 2006 13:01 (twenty years ago)

the last time i went to the old blue last was when anna-marie was djing, she was playing ace stuff but that pub HAS SO MANY CUNTS IN IT. which is my objection, really.

i forgot to book tuesday off and have a morning meeting :(

The Lex (The Lex), Thursday, 13 April 2006 13:07 (twenty years ago)

that sucks. its my birthday monday. so its straight to golf from minus, then back to t-bar. which is going to be a bit of a change of pace.

rchinn (rchinn), Thursday, 13 April 2006 13:29 (twenty years ago)

braxe sounds good! alternatively i would be psyched to just grab a drink with you guys and see everybody again. i won't be in london long -- just on a stopover before i go to berlin later that week.

geeta (geeta), Thursday, 13 April 2006 13:37 (twenty years ago)

OMG! Actual golf raver!

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 13 April 2006 13:45 (twenty years ago)

I am well up for Braxe. French mentalism ahoy!

RickyT (RickyT), Thursday, 13 April 2006 14:49 (twenty years ago)

(Dude!)

Matt DC (Matt DC), Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:04 (twenty years ago)

it's braxe's worldwide debut apparently--he's never played out before. i am psyched.

(dude!)

geeta (geeta), Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:08 (twenty years ago)

At least there be drinks before the house.

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:22 (twenty years ago)

least let there

Andrew Farrell (afarrell), Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:24 (twenty years ago)

the last time i went to the old blue last was when anna-marie was djing, she was playing ace stuff but that pub HAS SO MANY CUNTS IN IT. which is my objection, really.

Gheys be hatin' on cunts - inevitable.

BARMS, Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:24 (twenty years ago)

hmm im excited about braxe for some reason. is braxe "crydamoure presents Waves I and II" in club form?

ambrose (ambrose), Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:26 (twenty years ago)

Dunno 'bout his DJing (thought some of you would bug to the mix CD he did for DJ Mag with Justin Robertson, which I'm not that keen on tracklist-wise) but CB is so not awful, kid.

BARMS, Thursday, 13 April 2006 15:35 (twenty years ago)

Are there still tickets for Richie Hawtin??

Tommy Tannoy (Tommy Tannoy), Friday, 14 April 2006 23:21 (twenty years ago)

Looks like you can buy tickets for Lost here.

Old Blue Last was good. Only got down there around 10pm. They had started at 10am :|

Prins Thomas played at 12 and had to bail to catch a flight. Music was really good with nu-wave downstairs and italo upstairs. A few messy people though.

Looking forward to hearing Krack again tomorrow night.

rchinn (rchinn), Friday, 14 April 2006 23:30 (twenty years ago)

ok fuck it i spent the night in camden, at some shit, im off to buy a lost ticket

charltonlido (gareth), Friday, 14 April 2006 23:39 (twenty years ago)

hearthrob (live) + gaiser (live). yes.

rchinn (rchinn), Saturday, 15 April 2006 07:33 (twenty years ago)

Same night as the Issst with Braxe, but upstairs...

And did we mention Our Disco Parisian Invasion:

Justice (Ed Banger)
Mr Oizo (F Comm)
Feadz (Bpitch)
Busy P (Ed Banger)
Sebastian (Ed Banger)
Kavinsky
Our Disco residents
Special live guest

Saturday 6th May @ Canvas, £8 in advance from ticketweb, £10 on the door

MattR (MattR), Saturday, 15 April 2006 08:29 (twenty years ago)

THE WHOLE OF PARIS is in one yard in King's Cross on 6th May! That's got to be some afterparty. Braxe and friends looks better than that lot though.

Matt DC (Matt DC), Saturday, 15 April 2006 09:01 (twenty years ago)

Our Disco parts looks great. Special live guest Uffie?

rchinn (rchinn), Saturday, 15 April 2006 09:33 (twenty years ago)

wait......do you think tickets are necessary for Lost?
i had assumed i could just come in a bit early.... is that erroneous?

the key is demonstrably the worst club in london, or the worst one i have been too. jeff samuel was really good but it was like i was clubbing in watford. also, far too expensive. i dont mind expensive as long as i dont feel like cattle and the club is glamourous to back it up. canvas feels worth it, the key is pretty foul.

ambrose (ambrose), Saturday, 15 April 2006 10:04 (twenty years ago)

OK, I probably may not be out tonight, but I will visit 93 Feet East on Monday if I can (my dad's in town for Easter).

Hal! Jordan! HAL! JORDAN! (Barima), Saturday, 15 April 2006 12:36 (twenty years ago)
