i think it finally dawned on tom just how capricious shiv and the rest of the kids are where logan will actually reward you for loyalty or is at least cognizant of the concept and its benefits, he told tom he wouldnt forget re the offer to go to jail and so forth, and of course logan always wins, then add that to the fact that shiv just generally despises tom and treats him like shit

I really liked the moments of Roman actually making Kendall smile in his despair. Showed Roman to be not just a narcissist, but trying to lighten the situation (maybe his only skill).

it's so immensely perfect that Roman's entire concept of how to be funny is "put on a 'foppy British man' comedy voice"

was a nice touch how logan gave roman one last chance to be loyal before revealing that he had him beat

not sure how I initially misread Tom’s pitch to Greg in the moment

great last ep in that it felt inevitable and you could put the pieces together (esp with Tom) but it felt like a surprise ending.

wonder if they'll flash forward a few years. . . Logan has a 3 year old and the baby becomes CEO

I did not like this season, I hate the music so much, the whole thing is shot like a calvin klein ad from back in the day, I can't believe every season of this show just sticks to the plot of that m&m sketch, the slave castration part was scene was the only good one I thought

I was about two-thirds negative about the first season, one-third with season two, and completely satisfied by this season. Most of the problems (I probably wrote about them early in this thread) had to do with waning credibility of moments episode by episode. The show has improved so much.

There are so many things that objectively I recognize are fair criticisms of this show, and none of them bother me, and it just makes me think that maybe more shows should be extremely well-written and well-acted instead of being not so well written or well acted and then I would like them more

tired: character development, likability, stakes, whatever other hack screenwriter bs ordinary non screenwriter people have adopted for some miserable reason

Gotta be honest, this episode is where the whole inserting "fuck" in place of another word kind of stopped being inspired and felt kind of lazy.
