i think that the more people who either a) have trans friends and family or b) enjoy content by visible trans creators, the more that this will be met with pushback. ofc solidarity from other groups is important (miners + gay rights in the 80s etc), but solidarity is often expressed thru engagement + celebration as well as protest

keeping it to the UK here, i am not for a second suggesting it is easy to be a black person in this country - there are systemic and structural racisms at play everywhere you look - however it is inarguable that the situation has improved over the last 50 years, thanks in part to black people being popular musicians, footballers, politicians, visual artists, presenters, in short public figures; and also in part to friendships and relationships between races becoming commonplace
