Pretty sure they were both interested in Hopalong Cassidy films

Though Ellington took piano lessons, he was more interested in baseball. "President Roosevelt (Theodore) would come on his horse sometimes, and stop and watch us play", he recalled.[12] Ellington went to Armstrong Technical High School in Washington, D.C. His first job was selling peanuts at Washington Senators baseball games.
I think of Ellington as someone "old" but more or less of the modern era, died not that many years before I was born, so it was really striking to me to imagine him as a child playing baseball with TEDDY Roosevelt watching him FROM HORSEBACK. Not to mention that it was a time when a president would just ride out on horseback to watch some kids play ball.

A review:
Religious SpiritReviewed in the United States on January 11, 2010We need to discern between a religious spirit's work in people, apart from that of the Holy Spirit. This book is based on a religious spirit which seeks to add to what the Bible would say is wrong, and try to make everyone uniform into what an individual thinks is right with God. No music in and of itself is evil because God created music, but satan does pervert some music. Also, let me say I believe very much in righteous living as the Bible says1John 3:4. Everyone who practices sin also practices lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness. 5. And you know that He appeared in order to take away sins; and in Him there is no sin. 6. No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him. 7. Little children, let no one deceive you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 8. the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, that He might destroy the works of the devil. 9. No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10. By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother. 11. For this is the message which you have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another;I am glad that Jimmy Swaggert is still serving the Lord and fulfilling what God called him to do. Very few have been used so powerfully by God as he has. Many people will be in heaven because of his ministry. As a matter of fact, Stryper got saved through his ministry. I don't mean this review to disrespect Jimmy Swaggert in any way at all. He has done great things for God and has a strong anointing. I simply feel we need to not judge by externals, and actually the rift that was caused by the religious community against Christian rock caused a division in the Christ's kingdom that is still there to this day. There actually needs to be a healing there. Those that continually bash Jimmy Swaggert because of his past failures are in sin and of a religious spirit as well. But also, I want to make a point here. If there was someone called to be a missionary to an Arab country, they would wear the long beard, turban, and robes to get into that culture and have a voice, but they would preach the message of Christ and bring many to him. There is nothing sinful about having a long beard, turban, or robe on. I believe many of these in Christian rock circles are trying to be a missionary to get into a culture to bring them to Christ. There are some that are off base in Christian rock, rap, or worship, but there are those off base in every realm of Christianity. I think books like this are throwing out the baby with the bath water and based on a religious spirit. That is just my opinion. Hopefully this review helped someone.

The film was shot in Ireland to exploit tax breaks and local resources. [2] The film was also involved in a defamation suit between Dennis Hopper and Rip Torn where Hopper publicly stated Torn pulled a knife on him on the set of Easy Rider back in the 60s. Hopper's representatives tried to settle the defamation suit by floating the offer of a supporting role in Space Truckers which Torn's representatives refused.[3]
