the s3 ending bummed me out for another reason

I was so gutted by Gordo's death because he was my hands down favorite character. But also I was looking forward to the moment when Gordo learns that Karen boned down with Danny. I'm still looking forward to Tracy finding out, and dragging Karen out of her house by her hair and beating the shit out of her on the front lawn, and Ed finding out and going nuclear, but I still wish Gordo was going to be alive for that particular show

Tbh I was ready to give up about halfway through but then they hooked me all over again.

the news report mini-episodes covering 1984-1992 are fun: no need for oil -> no Gulf War

Got most of the way through the 1st series I think. Was pointed to the show by somebody mentioning they realised the main guy in Patriot was one of the original group of potential astronauts.
So have been watching it intermittently and may pay it more attention if it is seen to be worthwhile up to date.
Just been watching a number of other things at the same time.

Has been pretty annoying in places cos the subtitles are either on all the time or Spanish doesn't get translated or have to keep switching it on and off and rewinding a bit. Not sure if that is the version I got or if it is widespread, subtitles came as part of the videofile anyway.

Wonder what will be the musical accompaniment to Margo's morning routine in the opening episode of Season Three. Speculations are welcomed.

i loved how they deployed Mariah’s Someday at the wedding (the one you gave away will be the only one you’re wishing for)

Gordo’s youngest (forgot his name) crushed that wedding speech in the best possible ways ie full Gordo maudlin

2nd half of the ep was v exciting - had thought maybe Ed & Danielle would get their time to shine & save the day but still v tense & a great 1st ep
