Brighton are a good watch tho, really know how to operate out wide

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Saturday, 6 November 2021 18:05 (four years ago)

My mother oh so randomly happened to stop by at 3pm so I kinda had to watch Chelsea Burnley, not really anything interesting to report there, tbh Burnley weren't as ugly as is made out, even though I talked Maxwell Cornet up to her then he did fuck all. They did try to play football once they were a goal behind

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Saturday, 6 November 2021 18:31 (four years ago)

This ref is a fucking clown

Farke sacked after winning today.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Saturday, 6 November 2021 20:40 (four years ago)

C. Ronaldo sticks out a foot, ball goes straight at Ederson, commentary is "Oh! Brilliant volley!", two minutes later they're still going on about how it "could be" 1-1, this is why I don't watch Man United matches, City have dominated

They never suggested anything other than City having dominated, but it *could* have been 1-1 (at that point). That's hardly controversial.

It's actually worse than the Liverpool game. City playing at walking pace

Difficult to say which was worse, really. Two different flavours of shit. City only scored twice, and both of those goals were a bit weird (freak sliced own goal and one that no one even realised it had gone in for a while), but I don't think I've ever seen a side dominate United at Old Trafford as much as that. The second half must have been about 90% City possession. Liverpool didn't dominate to quite that extent, but at the same time looked like they would score on every single attack (and frequently did) until Pogba got sent off. The Liverpool game felt like we could easily let in ten, whereas the City game felt like we could go the whole second half without touching the ball.

"players never ever go out on a football pitch not to try, we all know that"

Is that a wink or is that an actual belief

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Sunday, 7 November 2021 14:19 (four years ago)

Reguilon feet and ankles the worst player on the pitch and possibly in the entire postcode, he has had a personal disaster of a half

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:24 (four years ago)

Ref blowing it up while everton had a chance to score was a foolish decision

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:24 (four years ago)

well the only penalty incident I recall is the one where Telles got a minisucle nick on the ball. Lloris got a fingernail there

unless you're referring to a different one

Number None, Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:25 (four years ago)

i wouldn't have complained if City got the pen though

Number None, Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:25 (four years ago)

Var check on handball now and kerfuffle in the box

Spurs losing control here ffs

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:26 (four years ago)

I didn't realise brushing the ball beforehand permits you to wrap your hands around the players's feet but then I'm no ref. Everton seem to be motivated by the sense of injustice now and seem like scoring. Richarlison remains a shitehawk tho

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:31 (four years ago)

That's surely a nailed on red

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:49 (four years ago)

Well Spurs were Not Good, but at least they showed a bit of impetus, surely an improvement in some way

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:56 (four years ago)

180+ minutes without a shot on target.

226, not including extra time, now. That has to be getting close to a record.

Scampo di tutti i Scampi (ShariVari), Sunday, 7 November 2021 15:57 (four years ago)

How much are they wanting for Kane?

Essentially this, tho ffs individuals at individual moments just fucking break my heart

Lucky to get away with a draw even in that last two minutes, with a corner to us against ten men.

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Sunday, 7 November 2021 16:01 (four years ago)

Folk going on about Mo Salah, TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD has been Liverpool's MVP so far this season. 5 man wall, one lying down, 2 more mooching about, I'm doing sums in my head and I donno where the other fellow was, just bend it into the net, genuinley amazing player (left back, no midfielder)

The Speak Of The Mearns (Jonathan Hellion Mumble), Sunday, 7 November 2021 17:20 (four years ago)

3 more mooching about maybe I meant to say, or maybe I can't count for shit

Fuck. Me.

🗞 Coaches have tried Sancho as a right wing-back in sessions in recent weeks and, with Wan-Bissaka’s attacking ability in question, Solskjær may yet turn to the tactic against teams expected to sit in should he continue to use the 3-4-1-2 system. [@lauriewhitwell]

The wasted talent in the premier league generally is a fuckin crime

fix up luke shawp (darraghmac), Tuesday, 9 November 2021 12:28 (four years ago)

Sancho might be good at helping the buses get parked outside the stadium on match day, give him a clipboard and a fluro tabbard. He can keep van de beek and Mata company, they are washing executive cars round the back. Phil Jones is the new mascot obviously. #Jobz4daboys

Swanswans, Tuesday, 9 November 2021 12:57 (four years ago)

We've been playing our wingers as wing-backs in League One and it's been working. Muck in Jadon ffs
