venom is gay and ridiculous therefore i like watching it more than most superhero movies

It wasn’t worse than any of the Avengers or X-Men films, or most Spider-Man films. I can’t think of any recent DC film I’ve watched but I can’t imagine they’re vastly superior to Venom.

of all the superhero movies ive watched in the last few years (I intentionally watched about 5 or 6 a couple of xmases ago after eschewing them for years, and have watched a few since) venom was one of the better ones. although I don't remember that much of it

I think BJG was somewhat relatable (?) in some surface ways, supporting things I supported, but after the primaries there was this entire deal where she’s in this space that isn’t pushing interesting ideas and isn’t funny

I think I listened to that podcast with her and Virgil, where he had no one to really counteract or riff against, and then he was gone for obvious reasons and not only was it not addressed in a clear way, she kind of got even less interesting

plus her takes on star trek were horrible. just terrible!

Nothing particularly interesting. Mostly a critique of liberal-left media / Twitter without being as deliberately obnoxious as Greenwald or as unhinged as Aimee Therese. Over time that has turned into an attempt to develop a micro-brand (Substack, etc) that doesn't seem to have generated much traction.
