Missed this one but, yep, Harbin was mostly built by Russian railway workers and, though it has obviously changed a lot, the historical buildings (and faux historical ones) often have a heavy Russian influence.

(Bucks and Berks are two counties that form part of the ring around Philadelphia county, and both are full of both very nice area and absolute shitholes)

I'm still trying to figure out what that grassy area in the center is. At first it looked like some kind of traffic circle, but then I started to think that the apparent curvature of the wall was actually fish-eye lens distortion and the wall is actually fairly straight. Still not sure though. And I can't figure out what is the in the low-lying area behind those bushes. Perhaps a river or train tracks?

Maybe non-English looking building on left in an otherwise English looking scene suggests more continental influence ?some place in Kent maybe

After dropping down onto a bunch of hunches I realised there maybe aren't as many roundabouts with pedestrian underpasses as I'd thought, so googled "traffic roundabouts with pedestrian underpasses" which quickly led me to a news story about renovation of St Bot's roundabout in Colchester

The strange building on the right is, rather inevitably, an NCP car park

Also just want to say ho much fun is it to tool around a town you've never been in, zipping down streets.

All I really know about Colchester is that parts of it are very old and Damon Albarn is from there

You say "tiles" I say "Portugal," but that doesn't look like Portugal.

So the buildings are unfinished, there's enough precipitation that the sidewalks have some decent plant life, and plywood is popular.

Initial thought is somewhere in Turkey or adjacent but not super confident on that

The buildings on the right in first picture all look like new residential construction for some reasonably prosperous clients.
