I would submit that, in our specific context of the United States in AD 2021, that taxing rich is a quite radical idea for policy makers (if not for the general public, if polls are correct). The context also including that through decades of deliberate government policy, it’s the rest of us non rich schlubs who actually pay the taxes.

i do think that "tax the rich" is something that sounds common in some circles, like a thing you say almost as a joke, because you know it doesn't happen in a real way in this country, not to the tax levels of many others with better safety nets for their least wealthy people. but i'm not sure if that's a catchphrase that the rest of our asshole country uses. some of those assholes don't know jackshit but they know everything about celebs. so if she can show up at a celebrity thing and wear a phrase and make at least a handful of dumbasses think "tax the rich?! what!? what? what does that mean? jeanne, do you know what means? what the heck? why is she saying that? where is my food coming from? who is taking care of me? where do the people go when they drop off my things and walk away? where do letters come from?", then that's a good thing for america.
