rosemary and i were comparing our matching costume-jewelry rings that we got at some tween store in the mall

miccio borrowed a couple of tapes of russian trad-folk songs from me so he could make copies

ally wanted to know why i always said "beautiful" in a sarcastic voice whenever something bad happened (i made up some multisyllabic german word to describe the phenomenon)

(and karen o was at the party too. she couldn't find her shoes and she was yelling at me because she thought they were under a pile of books i left on the floor.)

adamnordic asked me to come over and lay some carpet. it was 3 inch thick whitey orange shagpile. he had these big plastic donuts he claimed you had to tack it down with. i went looking for the toilet. seems he lived in a kind of mexican barracks with blankets hung for doors. i got lost wandering through the dust from one cinder block building to another and finally found myself under a bridge. a very tall skinny man with a tiny head painted yellow and green crouched over his briefcase. exhultant he pulled out the new funkadelic record. day of release he yelled. i expressed misgivings but could only mutter "...by way of the drum" when he grilled me on what the last funkadelic record i'd heard was. he was holding up a lyric sheet and praising clinton's words when adam popped his head over my shoulder and sarcastically singsang a couple of lines. we stumbled off and the only way back into the compound was through a series of folding doors. one was open and i thought i'd take that but adam headed straight through the one guarded by deniece williams. she flipped me the bird as i followed.

Last night I dreamt that I was in South London and I got into a fight with two unidentifiable grime MCs because I couldn't freestyle. I warned them they were out of their ends and they started to kick shit out of me but then Dave Stelfox appeared out of nowhere and scared them off.

OK I had a fucked up dream last night, for some reason I was at this southern truck stop stereotype of a hellhole bar with virtually no patrons (though all were female to start with), and Je4nne Fury was the barmaid. At one point it became a weird situation where teh drugs were referenced and suddenly Je4nne and this heavy, middle aged woman both produced like sugar bowls of coke. Je4nne was like all scarface about it, she like dumped the damn thing on herself. She also grabbed my hand and blurted out that I was "catatonic." An influx of other customers came in out of the blue, they also partook in the coke, one of the new patrons I'm pretty sure was JBR but it could've just been someone similar to her. Then I ended up wandering down a long corridor to the "parking garage" with two of Tom's friends, having a weirdo psychology discussion about porn, phone sex, and masturbation. One friend just kept giggling and yelling "CRANKIN'!", the other had quite a bit to say. We gave up on the car search and ended up back in the saloon because he needed to ask Je4nne a question about the topic but I woke up.

Last night I had a dream where that took place in small, broken down cottages over miles of country hillsides, all at night, all kinds of faceless dream people all paranoid about something out on the prowl killing/eating-parts-of people. Everybody's all clutching their big guns and whomping sticks and Teeny is there in this one cottage with a friggin ninja sword, and she's all like: "Nickalicious, I have to tell you what my real name is now before all hell breaks loose...it's [unfortunately, I don't remember what she said it was]", and then suddenly there's an angry mob coming at that particular shack and my roommate is leading them all like "I'm sorry Nick, the reason you can't figure out who is behind all this [for some reason, in the dream hill/shack society, I was supposed to be some kinda detectivoid duder, totally on top of catching the killer] is because IT IS YOU", and suddenly I realize OMG I'M A WEREWOLF and I start turning all wolfman right then and there and dream-Teeny is like "dude, this is just a dream, you don't have to do this!". There was also something about this little wooden foot bridge over a river that seemed important, but fuck if I know.

i had a dream last night that chris and i were on a train going through germany and down into north africa. we were reading the route map and got very excited when we learned that the next-to-last stop in germany was near a castle where some freako sound artist had installed several hundred alarm systems as a kind of electroacoustic experiment. chris and i got off the train there and found a very posh, modern hotel in a small town. we were having a total blast until later that night, when the hotel became overrun with a busload of rambunctious mexican tourists. so we locked ourselves into our room, turned the radio up loud to drown them out, and spent the night singing along to '90s eurodance hits. i woke up before we got to the castle.
